Markets Start the Week with a Rollercoaster Ride

Hey, happy Monday! The markets had a wild start today. The Dow, NASDAQ, S&P, and Russell all jumped up at the open, but then quickly dropped and hovered around the zero line. No big news caused it—maybe just nerves with a busy week ahead.
- The Dow and S&P flirted with going positive, but couldn’t hold it.
- The NASDAQ and Russell dropped the most.
- It’s been a mix of red and green, with lots of back-and-forth action.
Looking at the big picture, the Dow is still at all-time highs and trending up, even with these daily swings. So, overall, things are still bullish. Some folks trade on daily or even 30/60-minute charts, but checking the monthly chart helps see the bigger trend.
Right now, it’s a wobbly morning—lots of indecision. We’ll just have to watch and see how the day plays out.
