Market Update: Snow Day Edition
Hey everyone—sorry this is a day late. We got slammed with a big snowstorm and power issues, so recording had to wait.
Quick market check: today looks solid. The Dow, Nasdaq, and S&P all pushed up to the highs of the day, and the Russell is leading the pack, up about 1.5%. Most stocks are green—Apple, Walmart, and plenty of others—so overall, it’s been a strong session.
Zooming out, the longer-term trend is still mostly bullish, but momentum isn’t super strong. We’re up, just not with a lot of energy behind it yet. On the weekly chart, we’re pushing back toward recent highs after a small pullback. The PPO briefly turned bearish, so this week will be important to see if it flips back up or if we get a deeper pullback.
Bottom line: today looks bullish, but we’ll see how the week finishes.
